Controller, AG Research Sydney

For over 18 years, AG Research has been providing flexible and collaborative solutions to Government, Health Care, Financial Services, Telecommunications and other industry verticals. Our professional services and solutions teams have provided quality software solutions and products that meet the needs and demands of a client base looking for answers and scalability. AG’s ability to integrate the power of Geomatics to business applications leads the marketplace. Our IT Infrastructure team provides stability to client operations through hosting, managed services and business continuity capabilities.


We are seeking a controller in a permanent full-time position. This challenging and dynamic position will have a significant impact on meeting the organization’s financial accounting and reporting requirements and supporting organizational growth. Reporting to the CEO and being a key member of the senior management team, responsibilities include:

• Financial reporting and analysis;
• Board reporting;
• Strategic leadership and accounting team management;
• Cash flow reporting, monitoring and analysis;
• Payroll; and
• Year-end annual financial statement review coordination with external accountants.

As the ideal candidate, you have a professional designation (CMA/CGA/CA) in addition to a minimum of five years experience in a senior level position. This role requires an energetic, multi-talented leader with an entrepreneurial nature and strong team focus. Your track record and accomplishments reflect your advanced communication, interpersonal and problem resolution skills. Taking a hands-on approach in performing your job, you are at ease in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
