AG Research Inc provides professional services with the key components to ensure success and an expeditious solution. Leadership includes an AG Project Manager and subject matter expert who will organize the Strategy Knowledge Asset Committee. To ensure consistency and long term support of record management, the Committee is created to own the role and responsibility of transitioning to a new solution. Goals are identified in the Committee Terms of Reference agreement and communication is a key component that updates all stakeholders. The Transition and Implementation Plan identifies all deliverables necessary to sustaining and implementing central record management and documentation centre solutions.AG will focus on strategic documentation engaging the Committee and stakeholders to ensure everyone is aware and in agreement with the best knowledge asset management approach. Several best practice documents are part of the primary project:
- Record Management Policy (RMP). This is a critical document to ensure staff commitment to record tracking. The RMP will define the purpose of the policy, Guiding Principles, Policies, Authority and Statement of Responsibility.
- Classification Standard and Retention Policy – The Classification Standard will describe all category blocks, items appropriate for each block, IDs assigned to the block categories and the retention policies.
- Record Management Business Processes – RMBP will define the business processes necessary to send or receive records from the Record Management System.
- Record Management Business Operating Procedures – RMBOP will describe the specific operating procedures to consistently track records within any group.
